Electric Windshield Washer Conversion 914

The original windshield washer on the Porsche 914 is operated by compressed air supplied from the Spare tire. Here is the option to convert it to an electric operated syste. The switch replaces the original valve in the steering column. With this switch installed, an electrical washer pump can be operated with the wiper switch.

The pump can be sourced at the automotive store or on-line for $20 - $30.

Wiring suggestion

There are many ways to wire up the switch to operate the pump. This is my recommendation.
